Iceland Noir is coming home!
Last year the festival that celebrates the darkest and the best in crime fiction, including the astonishingly high-quality contributions to the genre from Icelandic writers, relocated to Hull, but from November 16th -18th 2018 it’s business as usual in Reykjavik, where local favourites Ragnar Jonasson, Yrsa Sigurdardottir and Lilja Sigurdardottir (no relation) will be joined by international guests including Shari Lapena, Kevin Wignall, Hugh Fraser, Mark Billingham and Val McDermid. Events include a session with Sjon, who’s written lyrics for Bjork, a crime disco and what the organisers describe as the ‘first ever drunken writer’s panel.’
Iceland Noir is offering Crime Club readers a generous 30% discount on a festival pass - and one lucky buyer will win a return flight to Reykjavik for the festival, and a full refund on the price of their pass. To buy the pass, and enter the prize draw, accept the terms and conditions below and the privacy policy.
Deadline for the competition is Friday August 24, when the winner will be selected at random.
